Walking with Ancestors
Each January, our Walking with Ancestors committee meets at the Normal Hill Cemetery where they choose early residents to be researched and portrayed. Our goal is to demonstrate how genealogical information can be found on just about anyone starting with a name, birth and death dates. We then present our research through portrayals and display boards in an annual event held on the 4th of July each year. Information booths include the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
